Kazbek 5,047m

Kazbek is one of the most popular peaks in Georgia arguably only surpassed by Elbrus. It is situated in the Eastern Caucasus.

Day 1 – We'll collect you from the airport
Day 2 – Tbilisi - Stephantsminda. Drive (170 km/ 2.5 hours).
Day 3 - Stephantsminda (1700m) – Kazbek BC (3650 m). We'll drive to 2200m and then start trekking to base camp (3650m). Approximately 7.5 hours.
Day 4 - Acclimatisation day we'll use this day to practice basic skills rope work, ice axe arrest etc as well as an acclimatisation walk to 4,000m
Day 5 – The big day Kazbek 5,047m (10-12 hours)
Day 6 - Contingency day. This is our spare summit day in case of bad weather etc.
Day 7 - Back to Tbilisi
Day 8 - Fly home to tell everyone about your adventure

June-September are the best time by climbing is possible all year round. In the winter we can also offer ski touring options.

We can run any date on demand for groups of 2 or more. If you want we can advertise an open expedition date to help you find the numbers you need.
